Every deserted place has a story yet to be told; traces remain. To make these narratives more comprehensible, I organize my work into three distinct categories, street, dream, and contrast. This structure allows me to investigate how an abandoned place narrates its own history. I have learned to identify spaces that answer the question "why", allowing me to bridge the gap between the history of the setting and my own personal story.

I decided to forgo the innovative, futuristic feel of digital photography: its high-resolution images and absence of grain. Instead, I chose to work with black-and-white and color film, which offer more authentic tones and the strong contrast I have always sought. Film captures the true tone of color and nature, remaining unmatched by digital photography. Analog photography resonates more strongly with the audience and leaves more space for imagination. During this process, I discovered that strong lighting and bold color contrast not only help me narrate a story, but also invite the audience into a journey of reflection. This is evident in works like Truman, featuring a red wall with an unpainted door-shaped form, and Lanterns, where traditional New Year lanterns glow against the darkness. Each piece preserves its originality while allowing the objects to speak for themselves.
