How can I capture emotion and passion in sports? This question guided my portfolio this year and helped push me past my known limits and create pieces of work that fully captivate who I am as a photographer. This question guided me into deeper connections with teams and players helping me get into depth with my work. This also helped me expand my creative range by using photoshop to greate visual graphics I can use to to demonstrate a teams love for there sport.
This year has been a great year for my personal photo journey. I have managed to run my own social media account to help broadcast Blair athletics to the rest of the United States. My photos have reached the eyes of a combined 500,000 people which has been a huge success for me. This year I have also loved taking the role of a teacher to some of the younger and ambitious photo kids who love to take sports photography, helping boost the photos clubs numbers to over 15 kids a season. I contribute these successes as well to my classmates who have pushed the limits with sports photography at Blair.
